He's a Whore

I've had a blog less than a week now and I'm already faced with a moral dilemma. I just read on the main blogger page about something called adsense. It's a device some bloggers use to generate income from their blogs. Using this device would essentially consist of me giving persmission to Google to sell adspace on my blog, just as you would see on a regular website. Unfortunately, I would not get to choose who advertises what. Google would choose ads based on the content of my blog so I'm not sure what ads you would see because my blog doesn't really seem to be about much of anything.

Am I ready to sell out so quickly? Money isn't everyhting it's true, but what it can't buy I can't use.

I think it was Calvin Coolidge that said, "The business of America is business." So why can't the voices in my head drum up some moola for me and become corporatized like everything else in this country? Am I really ready and willing to whore myself? I'm thinking I am.
